PEDULLA, M.V. | ELECTRIC BASS: BUZZ/MVP SERIES | This series consists of 2 models, the MVP and the BUZZ . The MVP has a fretted fingerboard, while the BUZZ is fretless -- all other aspects are identical. Bassists Mark Egan and Tim Landers helped design and perfect the Buzz Bass. Earlier specifications and nomenclature differ slightly from Pedulla's current model offerings. When the MVP/Buzz Standard featured a flame maple body and chrome tuners, the upgrade to black or gold hardware was called the Deluxe; a higher grade (AA) flamed maple with black or gold hardware was designated the Custom; and the next higher grade (AAA) flame maple with black or gold hardware was labeled a Signature. Black, chrome, or gold hardware is now standard, and MVP/Buzz basses are offered in the AA or AAA grade flame maple bodies. | BUZZ/MVP STANDARD | - offset double cutaway flame maple body, through body maple laminate neck, fretless ebony fingerboard, fixed bridge, brass nut, two-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, P/J-style Bartolini pickups, volume/tone/mix control, active electronics, available in Champagne, Black, Lime Green, Metallic Midnight Blue, Red, or White finish, disc. 1994. |
