LINDERT
ELECTRIC: LOCOMOTIVE SERIES
The Locomotive series was originally produced as the Victor series. The series/models were introduced in late 1995, and renamed in 1996. Locomotive models feature a three-piece body construction design similar to '50s Danelectro guitars, and have a 25.5 in. scale. The Baritone-style Bass VI configurations have a 30" scale length, and a 24-fret fingerboard.
LOCOMOTIVE S
- offset double cutaway body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, six-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, cream colored pickguard, nine fabric "grille" inserts on top (behind bridge), fixed bridge, three single coil pickups, volume/tone controls with chickenhead knobs, five-way selector switch, available in textured Beechwood brown finish, mfg. 1995-early 2000s.
LocoMotive T
- similar to the Locomotive S, except has a single cutaway body, two single coil pickups, and three-way selector, mfg. 1995-early 2000s.
FRANKLIN
- similar to the Locomotive T, except treble horn has more pronounced point, two humbucker pickups, two fabric "grille" inserts behind bridge, mfg. 1996-early 2000s.
2 THUMBS UP DOUBLENECK
- similar to the Locomotive S, except has double neck configuration, 30 in.scale upper bass neck/25.5 in.scale lower guitar neck, three single coil pickups (per neck), neck electronics selector, tortoiseshell pickguard, mfg. 1997-early 2000s.
