 EMERALD | | Instruments previously built in Donegal, Ireland between 1999 and 2007. | | Luthier Alistair Hay build carbon fiber guitars under the Emerald Guitar name between 1999 and 2007. Hay started working on a carbon fiber guitar in 1999 and the first models were launched at the 2003 NAMM show. The bodies and neck are constructed out of carbon fiber and have elaborate designs and colors. Hay ceased production of Emerald Guitars in 2007 to persue other interests, but he still may offer custom guitars in the future on a one-off basis. | | | ACOUSTIC |
