ZON | ELECTRIC BASS: MICHAEL MANRING HYPERBASS SERIES | Prior to 1998, the Hyperbass model with detunable keys and bridge was labeled the Version II. Currently, the Version I is featured with detunable or non-detunable keys. A third version of the Hyperbass, Version III featured the detunable Zon/ATB bridge, detunable Zon/Gotoh/Hipshot tuners, and a piezo body pickup (last retail list was $7,995). The Version III was discontinued in 1998; the Zon piezo bridge option is still available for Zon basses.
