ELECTRIC
The Zentech SE (base retail $1,000) has a cedar body and quilted maple top, rosewood fingerboard, inline headstock, chrome or black handware, vintage-style hardtail bridge, 2 Chandler Zebra humbuckers, volume/tone controls, and a three way pickup selector.
The Zentech ST (base retail $1,200) has an offset double cutaway teak body, maple neck, Schaller tuners, and 2 Chandler Zebra humbuckers. It is wired in stereo, and has coil taps, phase switch, gold hardware, and tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece. Slightly related is the Tasmanian Micro, a travel guitar with a full scale (25.5 in.) maple neck, smaller teak body, maple fingerboard, chrome hardware, single pickup, and single volume knob. Designed to fit in the overhead bin of a Boeing 727, this model is complete with a padded gigbag for $700.
Zentech's Artist Series contains the Shark, which was designed in conjunction with Yupik Eskimo artist Jack Abraham. The Shark has the same appointments as the SE model, but a very original body shape (base retail $1,500).
