The Hydra has an outrageous body design, Premium grade Alder body, AAA bird's-eye maple neck, 22-fret neck, Original Floyd Rose tremolo bridge in chrome or non-tremolo brass bridge, available with the Eddie Van Halen D-tuna which allows the E string to be dropped to D without unclamping, ebony, rosewood, or maple fingerboards, Gotoh tuners, chrome or brass knobs, chrome or brass/gold hardware, one pickup variation available with volume control, two pickup variation has volume control and three-way switch, available in Jet Black, Bright Red, Candy Red, Corvette Yellow, Orange, Dark Purple, Metallic Lavender, Lime Green, Hand Rubbed Oil, Rock White, and Cherry Sunburst, custom graphics are also available, and MSR is $2,400. The Rock Legend has a double cutaway body design, technical specifications are the same as the Hydra Model, and MSR is $2,800. The Star Guitar has modified star shaped body design, technical specifications are the same as the Hydra Model. The Wayne Special has a double cutaway body, Flame or Quilted Maple top, Select Alder body, Cream Ivoroid binding and pickup bezels, compound radius fingerboard of ebony, rosewood, or maple. Other specifications are the same as the Hydra Model, available in Trans. Amber, Trans. Blue, Trans. Purple, Trans. Red, Natural, and Cherry Sunburst finishes. | |
