VOX GENERAL INFORMATION & MODEL NAME IDENTIFICATION Vox's reissue models include the Mark III model VM3B with Bigsby tremolo (last MSR $1,400), the Mark III model VM3F with fixed tailpiece (last MSR $1,200), the Mark III model VM3CFWD with fixed tailpiece, chrome pickguard, and matching finish headstock (last MSR $1,300), the Mark VI model VM6V with Bigsby tremolo (last MSR $1,400), and the Mark XII model VMXII 12-string guitar (last MSR $1,400). These guitars were produced approx between 1998 and 2001. Look for more information in further editions. Identification of Vox instruments is fairly easy, as the model names generally appear on the pickguards. However, there are models and configurations that do need to be doublechecked! Collectible Vox guitars seem to be the models built between 1962 and 1969.
