Tradition has been producing guitars since 1998. | | Tradition Guitars was founded by Jim Matthews in 1998. The first guitars were produced in a horse barn located in Indiana. Tradition builds guitars that have very low retail prices compared to guitars of the same caliber in other brands. Tradition feels that many guitars have gone up in price but have gone the other way as far as value. Tradition is striving for a high-quality guitar that doesn't cost a lot.
