 TYLER, JAMES | | ELECTRIC | Tyler guitars feature an offset, double cutaway body design and bolt-on bird's-eye maple neck. In the Studio Elite series, bodies are constructed out of mamywood, and some models have a figured maple top "Bent Over Arm Contour." Prices range from $2,495 (Studio Elite Psychedelic Vomit) to $2,765 (Studio Elite) and up to $3,350 (Studio Elite Deluxe).
Tyler's Mongoose series is the top of the line Tyler Guitar. Models feature Honduran mahogany bodies, and flame maple tops (except for the Mongoose Special and Mongoose Acoustic Electric). The maple cap under the Mongoose Gold Top is not flamed (nor is the gold finish translucent, if you think about it - so the flame wouldn't be apparent). Prices run from $3,065 on the Mongoose Gold Top to $3,550 (Mongoose Special).
