ELECTRIC: JUNIOR SERIES

The Junior series was offered beginning in 1995. All models have an alder body, one piece maple neck, and no bindings or wood laminates. By saving on labor and some wood costs, the retail price of the Junior series is about $500 less than the Models 1,2, or 3; however, the same hardware and electronic options are offered on the Juniors as is on the regular models.
The Model 1-A, Jr. features similar design to the Model 1-A, single pickup, painted alder body, rosewood fingerboard, and passive electronics at a list price of $2,360. The Model 1-B, Jr. is the same except has an active buffer and line driver preamp built in ($2,620), and the Model 1-C, Jr. features a quasi-parametric EQ ($2,910). All were available in Red, Maroon, Cobalt Blue, or Forest Green. Add $77.25 for a Three Color Sunburst. This series was discontinued.
