 SQUIER | | PRODUCTION MODEL CODES | | Fender's current Squier instruments are produced in Mexico, Korea and China. Fender products are identified by a part number that consists of a three digit location/facility code and a four digit model code (the two codes are separated by a hyphen). The second/third digit combination designates the production location: The first digit after the hyphen will indicate which country is the place of origin: For example, the model designated 033-0600 would be the Chinese-produced Affinity Series Strat. Squier instruments are directly based on Fender designs, and either carry a large Squier by Fender or Fender - Squier Series on the headstock. | |
