| In 1995, Spector offered a custom bass series based on a model built for Jason Newsted (formerly of Metallica, now part of Voivod). These neck-through models featured EMG pickups, piezo bridges and electronics, a black oil finish, and fiber optic illuminated side markers. List prices were $4,900 ( JN-4P ), $5,075 ( JN-5P ), and $5,350 ( JN-6P ) respectively. |
