EXPORT MODEL DESIGNATIONS

During the five years in the mid- to late 1960s (1964-1969), Rickenbacker exported a handful of models to the Rose, Morris & Company, Ltd. in England for European sales. Many of the export models have a corresponding U.S. model, although the export hollowbody models have f-holes rather than the slash hole (or none at all). Rickenbacker designated the export models with an S after the model number; Rose, Morris gave them a completely different number!
