PHOENIX GUITAR COMPANY | ELECTRIC | Serial numbers were attached to guitars and the following scheme can be used. Seven numbers were utilized MMYYXXX with MM being the month, YY being the year, and XXX being the production number starting with 001. The Chuck Hill electric featured an alder body with a figured maple top, Fender vintage style tremolo, and three single coil pickups. The price was $1,400 and two were produced. Various Fender electric guitars were built with prices ranging from $800 to $1,200. About 6 of these were produced. | |
