Basic features included a PRS preamp, 5 position rotary switch, deep and clear tone controls, and PRS hardware. The bolt-on neck models had alder bodies, or alder bodies with figured maple tops; the set-in neck models had solid mahogany, or mahogany bodies with maple tops. Approx. 600 PRS basses were manufactured 1986-1992.
