PBC GUITAR TECHNOLOGY | ELECTRIC BASS: GTB SERIES | Companion basses to the GTS series guitars of the early 1990s can be viewed as forerunners to today's current models. Both the 200 series and the 350 series offered Tension-Free necks and through-the-body bridges, 34 in. scale, 24-fret fingerboards, and PBC pickups. The GTB 200 (list $995) featured a offset double cutaway body, four-on-a-side headstock, and chrome hardware. A five-string version, the GTB 205 (list $1,295) featured similar hardware. Both the four-string GTB 350 and five-string GTB 355 headless models have the same features as the current models. However, the newer designs have a more pronounced inverse body curve by the bridge. Earlier models had prices that ranged from $1,195 to $1,895.
