PBC GUITAR TECHNOLOGY | ELECTRIC: WISHBONE SERIES | Wishbone Hollowbody guitars have an innovative design. Rather than mount the bridge to the solid, carved top like other conventional designs, Bunker's bridge floats on a wishbone/multi laminate wood beam that extends from the heel block to the underneath of the bridge. A brass bar couples the block to the bridge, leaving the top of the guitar free to resonate like an acoustic guitar top. The Wishbone series consists of three hollowbody archtop models, and an Arlen Roth Signature model. All four models include the Tension-Free neck and Wishbone bridge support beam. Tops are carved from solid bookmatched figured maple, and the bodies are carved from blocks of tone woods. | AC 200 | - 2 in. deep single cutaway maple (or alder, or walnut) body, carved arched solid figured maple top, 2 f-holes, eastern hard rock maple neck, 25.5 in. scale, 22-fret rosewood (or maple or morado) fingerboard with dot inlay, carved ebony (or rosewood or morado) Wishbone bridge, brass saddles, 3+3 tuners, chrome hardware, Bill Lawrence Keystone pickups, volume/blend/tone controls, available in Natural, Amberburst, Rubyburst, or Vintageburst finishes, disc. 1996. |
