OVERWATER BASSES
ELECTRIC BASS
Chris May is featuring three bass models: the original styles of the Progress and Fusion, as well as the traditional styled "J" model. Basses are offered in 4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-string configurations (only 4- and 5-string on the "J" series). Again, there are three different variants in the bass model offering: the Classic has a two- or three-piece neck-through design and solid wings. The Deluxe features a three-piece neck-through design with laminated wings, and the Pro has similar construction with multi-laminated wings. While the "J" series features a bolt-on neck, the body can still be upgraded to a Deluxe or a Pro. Bass necks can be laminated of maple/walnut or maple/sycamore, and the bodies constructed of sycamore, maple or walnut. The traditional "J" basses are generally built with maple necks and either sycamore, light ash, walnut, or alder bodies. Fingerboards can be rosewood, ebony, or maple. Customers can specify pickup and electronics, and choice of finish. There are the Elite, Evolution, and Anniversary Series that are available as well.
