MUSICVOX | Instruments currently produced in Korea since 1996. Distributed by Musicvox of Cherry Hill, NJ. | Owner Matt Eichen's new Musicvox Spaceranger guitar features a unique new design that will certainly gather attention any time a player takes it out of the case! Eichen combined the oversized headstock with an equally-oversized treble-side horn for resonance purposes, which gives the Spaceranger design increased sustain. After two years of expanding into a retail/distributor base, Eichen decided to take the guitars right to the players worldwide with direct sales. As as result, the factory pricing for direct sales has radically reduced the retail list price. In Austin Power's Goldmember, MusicVox's guitars are used in the band Ming Tea in the movie, Yeah Baby! Early versions (1996-1997 Mfg.) of the Spaceranger guitar model featured either an alder or an ultralight ash body. Finishes included solid color urethane colors like Red Alert, All Systems Green, Black Hole, Ignition Yellow, and White Hot. Nitrocellulose Sunburst and Transparent finishes were also available. | | ELECTRIC | ELECTRIC BASS |
