MESSENGER Instruments previously built in San Francisco, CA between 1968 and 1971. Distributed by Musicraft of San Francisco, CA. Messenger guitars and basses featured a single piece metal alloy neck in a design that pre-dated Travis Bean and Kramer instruments. Messenger instruments also feature distinctive f-holes, a thin body, and mono or stereo output. Available in a six or twelve string configuration.
