Carved models have select tops and backs with matching sides and neck. Laminate models feature laminated tops and backs, with necks and sides of flamed maple. All models feature a single cutaway and come in 14 in., 16 in., or 17 in.bodies. Body thickness is up to the player's choice. Motoro guitars feature ebony for the fingerboard, pickguard, bridge, and tailpiece, Pearl inlay, Schaller tuners, and a floating Mortoro pickup by Kent Armstrong. Models come with a hard shell case and warranty. A number of options; custom colors, custom inlays, 7 string models, etc. are also available.
The Free Flight (Volo Libero) has no body (or neck) binding, narrow or traditional pickguard. The Carved Solid Top/Back version retails for $6,500 and the laminated body version retails for $4,500.
The Songbird (L'uccello Cantante) black/white body binding, narrow or traditional pickguard with inlay, inlaid tailpiece. The Carved solid top and back version retails for $8,900 and the laminated version retails for $5,500.
The Starling (Il Storno) has multiple "bird" soundholes in upper and lower bout, "bird" cutout on side of upper bout, no body/neck binding, 12th fret pearl inlay, narrow pickguard. The Carved solid top and back version retails for $7,800 and the laminated version is $5,300. Mortoro's non-traditional "bird" soundholes in place of f-holes sets the Starling (Il Storno) into a new area where form and function cross into a nicely voiced, pleasant to the eye archtop design.
The Free Bird (Uccello Libero) has 2 "bird" soundholes (instead of 2 f-holes), "bird" cutout on side of upper bout, no body/neck binding, 12th fret pearl inlay, narrow pickguard. The Carved solid top and back version retails for $6,500 and the laminated version is $4,500.
The Parrot was designed for Jimmy Buffett. The F-holes are in parrot shape, parrot inlays are used, and the color is Parrot green. Retail price is $6,000 for the laminate and $8,600 for the carved.
The Song of Verona is a carved model with the finest master grade European spruce and maple and retails for $12,500.
The Riva of Garda is the top of the line model in a 14 in. body with the finest woods and retails for $18,000.
The Jazz Rocker is a solid-body electric with an alder body, maple neck, rosewood or ebony fingerboard, graphite nut, Schaller locking tuners, Wilkinson tremolo, vintage Kent Armstrong pickups, and circuitry for seven pickup combinations. Retail is $1,750 and includes a hard shell case.
