The Genesis MTD series was the result of the combined efforts of Modulus Guitars and designer Michael Tobias.

GENESIS MT4 (MODEL BG4)

- offset double cutaway alder or light ash body, bolt-on graphite/alder (or graphite/cedar or graphite/spruce) neck, 24-fret granadillo fingerboard with white dot inlay, ABM bridge, four-on-one-side tuners, black hardware, two J-style Bartolini pickups, volume/treble/bass controls, available in Amber, Blue, Clear Gloss, Clear Satin, Gloss Black, Green, Orange Crush, Purple, or Red finish, 34 in. scale, mfg. 1997-98, reintroduced 2003-present.

Genesis MT5 Five-String (Model BG5)

- similar to the Genesis MT4, except has in five-string configuration, five-on-one-side tuners, and 22-fret fingerboard, 35 in. scale, mfg. 1997-98, reintroduced 2003-present.

GENESIS GVJ4

- offset double cutaway P-style alder body, bolt-on carbon fiber neck, 21-fret composite fingerboard with white dot inlay, four-on-one-side tuners, ABM bridge, tortoise, black, or white pickguard, two J-style Bartolini pickups, three knobs, chrome hardware, available in Blue, Creme, Gloss Black, Green, Metallic Blue, Metallic Green, Metallic Light Plum, Metallic Red, Red, Three-Tone Sunburst, or White finish, 34 in. scale, mfg. 2004-present.
