Marchione builds his Bolt-On neck guitars to deliver incomparable sustain even with a tremolo, clear ringing sound, and easy playing low action. The sustain and sound quality are products of Marchione's full contact press fitting of the neck, machine heads, and bridge posts. When a string is attacked, the tone is transmitted through the instruments instantaneously with nothing lost to sloppy fitting. Marchione levels the fingerboard under string tension to ensure a stable, easy playing, buzz free neck. All electronic components are military grade, and Marchione uses custom audio tapered potentiometers. He also maximizes the signal path by employing a custom wiring configuration. | |
