MARCHIONE GUITARS | ELECTRIC: NECK-THROUGH BODY MODELS | Marchione's Neck-Through the body construction technique gives the player a wide palette: everything from a fat neck sound to full throttle bridge sound and all the mixes in-between. The comfort and playability of the neck are as integral to Marchione's guitars as great tone, so he cuts the neck to fit the player's hand. The neck is constructed from a three piece Sugar maple laminate, and the 24-fret fingerboard is available with a choice of ebony or rosewood. This three piece neck laminate is ultra stable and delivers clear highs, a responsive midrange, and a deep resonant bass register. The body is constructed of light weight Quilted maple. Aside from the beauty of the quilt figuring, a solid maple body gives the guitar an acoustic quality that is unobtainable with standard electric guitar woods. Spruce wood is used for the body of the Nylon string versions. The Carved Top Model (MSR $6,500) features a double cutaway Stratocaster style highly flamed maple top and mahogany or spruce back, bolt-on sugar maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard, matching color headstock with six-on-one-side tuners, vibrato bridge, two humbucker pickups, two knobs, switch, gold hardware, and available in various finishes. The Neck-Through Model (MSR $6,900) features a double cutaway Stratocaster style AAAAA highly flamed maple body, neck-thru-body hard rock maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard, matching color headstock with six-on-one-side tuners, two humbucker pickups, two knobs, switch, gold hardware, and available in various finishes. | |
