ELECTRIC BASS

The semi-hollow AcoustiBass instrument features an acoustic chamber under the bridge. The strings pass through the body and then over a saddle which has a piezo element. Manne also added a magnetic pickup in the bridge position that adds an additional mellow tone. The AcoustiBass model features the simplified volume, balance, and tone controls, which gives a broad spectrum of sounds (going from a dark, woody double bass sound, to a crisp biting sound). The four-string version of the AcoustiBass has a retail list price of $4,858 and the five-string version lists at $5,060.

BASIC XLR

- offset double cutaway heavy ash body (45mm thickness), multi-laminated asymmetrical shaped neck, 864 mm scale, 24-fret phenolic fingerboard, 4-on-a-side tuners, 2 epoxy sealed splittable (coil tapped) Manne Soapbar pickups (with double shielding), volume/push/pull tone pot, pick-up selector, passive circuitry, current mfg.

Basic XLR 5-String

- similar to the Basic XLR, except in five-string configuration, five-on-one-side tuners, current mfg.

SPECIAL BASS

- offset double cutaway with long bass horn, heavy ash body with Italian burl poplar top, 24-fret fingerboard, 5-on-one-side tuners, humbucker and single coil pickups, two knobs, gold hardware, High Gloss finish, disc. 2004.
