The Moderna ($7,500) is an updated version of the acoustic archtop with an evolutionary upper bout port and Full-Contact bridge. The extra port gives the player a more accurate version of the sound usually enjoyed by the people sitting in front of the guitar. Features include a single cutaway archtop Sitka spruce top, flame maple back and sides, a Kent Armstrong pickups, 16 in. wide at lower bout, binding on body head and pickguard, graphite-reinforced maple neck with 25.5 in. scale, and abalone or pearl block inlays on a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. The guitar is finished in Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The vintage styled Kenmare archtop ($8,500) is a celebration of the classic Art Deco-styled guitars of the 1940s and has a 17 in. across the lower bout, and has AAAA flame maple back and sides, and a Sitka spruce top. Other aspects of this model include bound f-holes, multi-ply fine line binding, 25.5 in. scale, graphite-reinforced maple neck, split block inlay on 22-fret ebony fingerboard, vintage peghead inlay, and Cremona Amber Nitrocellulose finish. The Perfecta ($5,500) is a single cutaway model that is 16 in. across the lower bout, and has bound Faux Holes, a single humbucking pickup, maple top/back/sides and neck, 25.5 in.scale, graphite-reinforced neck, ebony fingerboard, and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This model was designed with John Abercrombie and was designed for live performances with the soft attack of an arch top while keeping the feedback resistance and durability of an electric. The Milano ($6,500) is a semi-hollow double cutaway ES-335 style guitar. It features maple back and sides, a neck-thru-body mahogany neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and two humbucker pickups. The Mercury "Messenger of the Gods" ($4,500, mfg. 2004-present) is a semi-hollow guitar. It features a 14 in. lower bout width, ebony bridge and tailpiece, and two pickups. The Skyline Special ($15,000, new 2008) is a full-sized semi-hollow electric guitar that features New York buildings inlaid in the fingerboard, tailpiece, and headstock, and the iconic water tower on the tailpiece. | |
