MTD
ELECTRIC BASS
All MTD instruments are delivered with a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard; 21 frets plus a "zero" fret, 35 in. scale length.
The standard finish for body and neck is a tung oil base with a satin catalyzed urethane. Wood choices for bodies: swamp ash, poplar, and alder. Other woods, upon request, may require up charges. Exotic tops are subject to availability. Beginning 2000, all MTD Basses come equipped with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System. MTD basses feature custom Bartolini active pickups and electronics, volume/pan/treble/mid/bass controls, and internal trim pot to adjust the gain.

535 FIVE-STRING

- similar to the 435, except in six-string configuration, and three-per-side tuners, mfg. 1994-present.
735-24 SEVEN-STRING
- similar to the 435, except in seven-string configuration, 24-fret standard fingerboard, and 2/3-per-side tuners, current mfg.
