| The Tele-style Legend bodies are like the vintage Fenders, but with book matched tops, binding, and exotic woods. Here are current Legend Tele models for example purposes: The Legend Silver Sparkle Tele features a poplar body, conventional pickup cavities, custom silver sparkle pickguard, black body binding, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret bound bocote fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, six-on-a-side Gotoh tuners, black hardware, strings-through the body fixed bridge, two single coil pickups, volume/tone controls, five-way selector switch. This model has a Silver Sparkle polyester base/Polyurethane lacquer clear coat (topcoat). A similar model with a Dusty Rose Sparkle/Silver Sparkle Back finish and Bill Lawrence pickups is also available. The Legend Pau Amarello Tele model is similar to the Silver Sparkle Tele, except features a book matched Pau Amarello top, white pickguard, white body binding, rosewood fingerboard with gold pearl dot inlay, and chrome hardware. This model has a Natural finish polyester base with an airbrushed brown edging/Polyurethane lacquer clearcoat (topcoat). The Legend Pearloid-Bound Tele model is similar to the Silver Sparkle Tele, except features a rosewood fingerboard, pearloid body binding/pearloid pickguard, gold-plated hardware/neck pickup cover, and Schaller tuners. This model has a White polyester base/Polyurethane lacquer clearcoat (topcoat). |
