KOLL GUITAR COMPANY | ELECTRIC | The Glide Series solidbody models have a unique double cutaway. The Jr. Glide (MSR $3,000) features a plain mahognay body and asingle P-90 pickup. The Superior (MSR $3,000) was introduced in 1997, has a deeper cutaway and two Harmonic Design Z-90 pickups. The Duo Glide (MSR $3,750) has a chambered body with a thin flamed maple top, an f-hole, and TV Jones or Lollar humbuckers. The Spectro Glide 12-String (MSR $3,500) has a chambered body with a figured maple top. The Super Glide Almighty (MSR $4,750) has a chambered mahogany body with a handcarved figured maple top and several bindings. The Tornado (MSR $3,500) was introduced in 2005 and features a lightweight korina or mahogany body with a vibrato and two P-90 pickups. A Baritone (MSR $5,000) prototype has been introduced as well. Archtop models were first built in 1992, feature a single round cutaway, and many options are available. The Rose City has an Alaska sitka top with Pacific Northwest Big Leaf maple back and sides. The Rose City 7 is the same as the Rose City, except in seven-string configuration. The New Rose (MSR $6,200) was introduced in 2004, features an upgraded Rose City. Koll bought the Bridgetown series in 2000. The Bridgetown (MSR $6,500) is a 17 in. body with elaborate decoration and detail. The Bridgetown 7 (MSR $6,900) is the same as the Bridgetown, except in seven-string configuration. | |
