Beginning in 1994, Weber offered two guitar models in addition to his amplifier line. Kendrick's Continental model was designed as a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Austin blues scene; the Town House model was named after the club in Texas where ZZ Top started their career. Both models are available in other custom colors. The Canary (MSR $3,795) features a single cutaway Les Paul style Honduran mahogany body, Brazilian canarywood neck, Madagascar rosewood fingerboard, two custom wound humbucker pickups, tune-o-matic bridge, four knobs, and is available in Sunburst Nitrocellulose finish. The Continental (1994-present, MSR $3,495) features an offset angular swamp ash body, maple neck, 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl Texas-shaped inlay, six-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, vintage-style tremolo, pickguard, three Lindy Fralin single coil vintage repro pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-way switch, and is available in Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Sirius (MSR $3,495) features a single cutaway Les Paul-style Honduran mahogany body, ivoroid binding, rosewood fingerboard, three-per-side tuners, two P-90 pickups, four knobs, and a three-way switch. The Tejas (new 2008, MSR $1,695) features a mahogany body, carved dish flame maple top, offset V-shaped neck, ebony fingerboard, ebony headstock overlay, custom wound pickups, and a Faux Ostrich case is included. The Town House (1994-present, MSR $3,795) features a single cutaway mahogany body, arched maple top, set-in mahogany neck, 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl Texas-shaped inlay, three-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, tune-o-matic bridge, bridge/stop tailpiece, raised pickguard, two Lindy Fralin humbucker pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way selector, and is available in Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Town House Custom (disc. 2007, last MSR was $4,095) is similar to the Town House, except has gold plated hardware and triple body and headstock binding. The Town House Limited Edition (disc. 2007, last MSR was $5,995) is similar to the Town House, except has a solid Brazilian rosewood neck, tailpiece, and bridge, chambered Hoduran mahogany body, and an Adirondack spruce top. |
