ELECTRIC: BARNEY KESSEL MODELS
When guitarist Barney Kessel began endorsing Kay guitars, his signature appeared on the pickguards of the various Barney Kessel guitar models. By 1960, the signature was removed as Kessel had moved on to endorsing Gibson products.

- single cutaway LP-style body, 2 pickups, mfg. 1957-1960.

- similar to the Kessel Pro (Model 1700 S), except features one pickup, mfg. 1957-1960.
