Between 1981 and the mid-1990s, Rose built over 200 custom guitars. Of the 200, 25 were basses. The serialization began in 1981 with #1, and Rose maintained a list of the original specifications, colors, woods, and original owners for each and every one. In the mid-1990s, Rose offered The Standard (Last MSR was $1,595), the F-Hole Hollowbody (Last MSR was $1,295), the Custom (Last MSR was $1,695), the 7/8 Strat Style (Last MSR was $1,295), and the Elite (Last MSR was $2,495).
