ELECTRIC: SS SERIES

Jackson offered the Short Scale series guitars with a scale length of 24.75 in., instead of the usual 25.5 in. scale normally employed. This shorter scale length was an option on the Fusion series for a number of years.

SS1

- offset shallow double cutaway arched basswood or ash body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, 3-per-side headstock, chrome hardware, 2 humbuckers, Wilkinson VS-100 tremolo, volume/tone controls, 3-way switch, available in Black, Cobalt Blue, Blue Green Pearl, or Red Pearl Satin finishes, mfg. 1996-97.

SS2

- similar to the SS1, except has polar body, no arched top, and tune-o-matic stop tailpiece, mfg. 1996-97.
