The Player's Choice series was released from 1993 to 1995 and incorporated many of the most requested options from the Jackson Custom Shop. Standardization of designs yielded lower retail list prices.

EXOTIC DINKY

- offset double cutaway koa body, bound quilted maple top, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret bound pau ferro fingerboard with offset pearl dot inlay, double locking vibrato, bound peghead with pearl logo inlay, 6-on-a-side tuners, gold hardware, 2 stacked coil/humbucker Seymour Duncan pickups, volume/tone control, 5-position switch, available in Tobacco Sunburst, Trans. Blue, Trans. Purple or Trans. Red finishes, mfg. 1993-95.

FLAMED DINKY

- similar to Exotic Dinky, except has flame maple body, bound ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlay, black hardware, Jackson pickups, available in Trans. Black, Trans. Blue, or Trans. Purple finishes, mfg. 1993-95.

KING V

- V-style poplar body, through-body maple neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlay, fixed locking bridge, bound peghead with pearl logo inlay, 6-on-a-side tuners, black hardware, 2 volume/1 tone controls, 5-position switch with opposite switching, available in Black finish, mfg. 1993-95.

ORIGINAL RHOADS

- Sharkfin style poplar body, gold pickguard, through-body maple neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlay, tune-o-matic bridge, strings through tailpiece with V plate, 6-on-a-side tuners, gold hardware, 2 humbucker Seymour Duncan pickups, 2 volume/1 tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Black finish, mfg. 1993-95.

PHIL COLLEN

- offset double cutaway maple body, through-body maple neck, 24-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlay, double locking vibrato, bound peghead with pearl Jackson logo inlay, 6-on-a-side Gotoh tuners, black hardware, single coil/humbucker Jackson pickups, volume control, 3-position switch, available in Metallic Black or Pearl White finishes, mfg. 1993-95.

RHOADS 10 STRING

- Sharkfin style quilted maple body, through-body maple neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlay, double locking vibrato, bound peghead with pearl Jackson inlay, double R truss rod cover, 6-on-a-side tuners, 4 tuners located on bridge end of instrument, gold hardware, volume control, 3-position switch, available in Trans. Black finish, mfg. 1993-95.
