iGUITAR, INC. (FORMERLY BRIAN MOORE GUITARS)
CUSTOM SHOP SERIES
The Brian Moore Custom Shop offers some very high-quality guitars with almost endless options. At Brian Moore they can specially custom design any guitar and turn it into a piece of art. For custom designed inlay work, refer to the company to see what they can create for you. Brian Moore also offers a Mandolin from the custom shop with an available 13-pin synth.
The Brian Moore Custom Shop consists of The C Series, which is the entrance line, if you can call it that, to the Custom Shop. The DC/1 Series is a step up from that and the MC/1 series goes way above and beyond that. Left-handed models are available at no additional charge. Several options are available and many of them may not be listed here. Check with Brian Moore for a complete listing of options on their custom guitars.
In 1996, the company offered variations in the C-series design, but with solid wood bodies and no synthetic backs. The C- series originally offered different pickup configurations and tonewood tops. Every model is available as a left-handed configuration. The price includes a hardshell case. The standard production C-55 is now only offered as a special limited edition.
The DC/1 model was a joint design with luthier/sound engineer Tom Doyle and Patrick Cummings (DC = Doyle/Cummings). A DC/2 is available as a special limited edition.
MC/1 guitars feature an offset double cutaway body and neck of one solid piece of composite material, and a variety of figured wood tops with natural binding. Various pickup and electronic configurations are optionally offered along with choice of hardware. These guitars are available as a Special Limited Edition. Only 12 MC series instruments are produced a year.
