iGUITAR, INC. (FORMERLY BRIAN MOORE GUITARS) | TRANSITIONAL MODELS | Brian Moore Custom guitars briefly produced a number of models that lead to the expansion of the C Series guitars. These transition models are referred to in the catalogs, but not widely produced: The C-50 had a contoured alder body, bolt-on maple neck, Wilkinson tremolo, and 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The suggested retail price was $1,695 ($1,850 with additional piezo bridge pickup). The C-70 model was similar in construction, but featured a swamp ash body and 2 single coil/1 humbucker Seymour Duncan pickups. Announced retail list price was $1,995, or $2,150 with the optional piezo bridge. Again, these were transition models only, and they are not listed only to avoid any confusion with older catalogs. In 1997, Brian Moore Custom Guitars offered a pair of models in the C Series that were the entry level models to the entire product line (these models were discontinued in 1998): The C-10 model featured the Brian Moore-style offset double cutaway contoured basswood body, a bolt-on maple neck, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, Wilkinson standard vibrato, chrome hardware, 2 Duncan Design humbucker pickups, volume/tone controls, and a 3-way selector switch. C-10 models were available in solid color finishes. The listed retail price was $795, and the C-10 P model with the additional piezo bridge pickup was $1,045. The C-30 model was similar to the C-10, except featured an ash body, 2 Duncan Design single coils/1 Duncan Design humbucker pickups, volume/tone controls, and 5-way selector switch. The C-30 was available in transparent finishes. The suggested retail list price was $995 (the C-30 P model had an additional piezo bridge pickup, and a retail price of $1,245). | |
