HMN CUSTOM INSTRUMENTS (NORTON) Instruments previously manufactured in Belgrade, MT and sales offices are located in the metro Boston, MA area. Co-founders Hugh Norton and Armond McCoy produced HMN Custom Instruments that feature the Norton Mainframe System. These guitars are modular in design allowing for switching of pickups and body modules. This is done through a system of metal rails that even allow for changing placement of a pickup.
