HOLLISTER GUITARS Instruments previously built in Dedham, MA during the 1990s and possibly into the 2000s. Luthier Kent Hollister offered high quality, custom built guitars. Models included the Archtop (last MSR $3,000), Semi-hollow (last MSR $1,900), Carved Top Solid Body (last MSR $1,500), and The Plank (last MSR $1,200). The Plank is an electric solid body with neck-through design. Hollister also created the Archtop Bass (last MSR $2,800), which features a central soundhole (as opposed to f-holes).
