ELECTRIC BASS
The XL Series were the top end models for Hartke, and they feature a select poplar sharp double cutaway body, aluminum neck, triple chrome plated headstock, Ebonol fingerboard with Nickel silver jumbo frets and a zero fret, two EMJ pickups (J & P), a Schaller 2000 chrome bridge, and a brushed aluminum pickguard. These guitars were available in Black, Medium Blue, Bright Yellow, Light Silver, Royal Purple, and Bright White, and come in either a four string (disc. last MSR was $2,400) or a five string. Custom colors were available for a $100 upcharge.
The XK Series is similar to the XL Series, except they were produced overseas and have less features. Models were available as a four-string (disc. last MSR was $1,000) and five-string (disc. last MSR was $1,130).
The NT Series was introduced for a short while in 2002. The NT stood for "Neck Through Body" design with a smoother cutaway. It also featured a maple body, three-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, two soap bar pickups and was available in Black or Trans. Red finishes. The NT was available as a four-string (disc. last MSR was $680 for Black finish and $730 for Trans. Red finish) and as a five-string (disc. last MSR was $730 for Black and $770 for Trans. Red).
The WK Series has the same smooth cutaways with a basswood body and no active electronics. Prices ranged between $550 and $650.
The AK Series was the same as the WK except with chrome hardware and is only available in Black. Prices ranged between $500 and $570.
The CK Series are produced with the same high standard of the WK except with less features. The CK-4 is only available as a four string for (disc. last MSR was $370).
The HP Series represented Hartke's entry level model. The HP-4 (disc. last MSR was $220) was very basic.
The Bass Gig Pack (MSR $315) represents Hartke's only current bass guitar model. This pack includes a SB-15 Bass, a B-15 Combo bass, guitar strap, gig bag, and instrument cable.
