HARPER'S GUITARS | ELECTRIC | Both the Monterey and Sierra models (last MSR of $1,595) feature basswood, poplar, or alder bodies, satin tung oil finished maple necks, a 25.5 in. scale, 22-fret maple fingerboards with black dot inlay, Sperzel locking tuners, Schaller non-tremolo bridges, and two DiMarzio humbuckers (volume control and three-way toggle switch). Both models were available in a solid color finish . The Mojave (last MSR was $1,895) model is similar to the above models, except features either an ash or mahogany body, 2TEK bridge, hand rubbed oil finish or choice of a translucent finish. Harper's Guitars also offered a wide range of options such as bookmatched tops, different body and neck woods, hardware, and inlays for additional costs. Harper's Guitars also produced a pair of custom-built models with the Marin (last MSR was $1,695) that features a figured maple top over a mahogany body, and the Eric Bloom Signature Model (last MSR was $1,795), which was developed in part with guitarist Eric Bloom (Blue Oyster Cult). | |
