Also see Bass Collection. | Guitar Collection (and Bass Collection) instruments are medium grade instruments with good hardware, and a modern, rounded body design. Their current appeal may fall in the range of the novice to intermediate player looking for a solid-feeling instrument. Guitar Collection instruments were originally distributed by Meisel Music, Inc. for a number of years between 1985 to 1992. Their on-hand stock was purchased by the Sam Ash music store chain of New York in 1994 and sold through the Sam Ash stores.
