GUILD
ELECTRIC BASS: MISC.
Early Guild basses have a specially designed Guild single coil pickup made by Hagstrom in Sweden that is often mistaken for a humbucker. Some of these basses have an extra switch that activated a passive circuit and eliminated the hum associated with single coil pickups. This feature makes the basses more desirable and collectible.
