GRETSCH
ELECTRIC: BO DIDDLEY SERIES
Gretsch never produced a production Bo Diddley model but they built three models especially for Diddley in the late 1950s and the early 1960s. The Jupiter was rectangle in shape with a red finish and two FilterTron pickups. The Thunderbird had a curved body with a red finish and two FilterTron pickups. The Cadillac was shaped like a Cadillac tail fin with Orange finish and two FilterTron pickups. Gretsch reportedly build two of each model between 1958 and 1962.
