- double cutaway hollow maple body, carved spruce top, 2-stripe bound body, double neck configuration with 12- and 6-string necks, 2 bound black pickguards, 3-position neck selector switch, each mahogany neck has 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid parallelogram inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/fixed tailpiece, 6-per-side/3-per-side tuners with pearl buttons, chrome hardware, 2 covered humbucker pickups, volume/tone control, 3-position switch, available in Black, Sunburst, or White finishes, mfg. 1958-1962.
EMS 1235
- similar to EDS 1275, except has octave 6 plus 6-string necks, hollow body 1958-1961, solid body beginning 1962, mfg. 1958-1967.
EBS 1250
- similar to EDS 1275, except has 4-string bass configuration on upper neck and 6-string guitar on lower, built-in fuzztone, mfg. 1962-68 (22 mfg.), and 1977-78 (2 mfg.).

- double cutaway solid SG style mahogany body, double neck configuration, 2 black 3-ply laminated pickguards, 3-position neck/pickup selector switches, 2 volume/2 tone controls, each mahogany neck has 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl parallelogram inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/fixed tailpiece, 6-per-side/3-per-side tuners with pearl buttons, chrome hardware, 2 covered humbucker pickups, available in Jet Black, Cherry, Sunburst, or White finishes, mfg. 1963-1968.
EDS 1275 (1974-1998)
- similar to EDS 1275, except available in Alpine White, Cherry, Heritage Cherry, Cherry Sunburst, Sunburst, Walnut, or White finishes, mfg. 1974-1998.

- gold hardware, available in Alpine White finish, mfg. by Gibson USA in Nashville until 2003, Nashville Custom Shop 2004-2005, and by the Memphis Custom Shop beginning 2006.
EDS 1275 Heritage Cherry (DSED-HC, Current Mfg.)
