Fodera models are offered in three different construction designs: Bolt-On (the neck is bolted on), Deluxe (set-in neck), and Elite (through-body neck). Fodera basses are offered with a number of pickup options, as well as custom inlay. All retail prices include a hard case.
The Emperor features an offset double cutaway alder (or ash or mahogany) body, flamed (or quilted) maple top, three-piece bolt-on neck, 21-fret ebony (or rosewood) fingerboard with dot inlay, solid brass nut, two-per-side tuners, Fodera bridge, Bartolini (or EMG or Lane Poor) pickups, volume/tone controls, Fodera circuitry, available in hand-rubbed clear satin finish, and 34 in. scale. The Emperor is availalbe as a four-string bolt-on (MSR $4,864), four-string Deluxe set neck (MSR $5,274), four-string Elite NTB (MSR $5,884), five-string bolt-on (MSR $5,365), five-string Deluxe set neck (MSR $5,775), five-string Elite NTB (MSR $6,385), six-string bolt-on (MSR $5,886), and six-string Deluxe set neck (MSR $6,886).
The Imperial features a single cutaway alder (or ash or mahogany) body, flamed (or quilted) maple top, through-body three-piece neck, 21-fret ebony (or rosewood) fingerboard with dot inlay, solid brass nut, two-per-side tuners, Fodera bridge, Bartolini (or EMG or Lane Poor) pickups, volume/tone controls, Fodera circuitry, available in Hand Rubbed Clear Satin finish, and 35 in. scale. The Imperial is only available as an Elite NTB model in four-string (MSR $5,894), five-string (MSR $6,395), and six-string (MSR $6,896) configurations.
The Monarch is similar to the Emperor body design, except have a sleeker profile and slightly further extended horns. It features a sleek offset double cutaway alder (or ash or mahogany) body, flamed (or quilted) maple top, three-piece neck, 21-fret ebony (or rosewood) fingerboard with dot inlay, solid brass nut, two-per-side tuners, Fodera bridge, Bartolini (or EMG or Lane Poor) pickups, volume/tone controls, Fodera circuitry, available in Hand Rubbed Clear Satin finish, and 34 in. scale. The Anthony Jackson Contrabass, designed in conjunction with bassist supreme Anthony Jackson, has a single cutaway alder body, AAA top, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, six-string configuration, three-per-side tuners, Bartolini or Lane Poor pickups.
