Stratocaster: Highway 1 Series (2002-Current Mfg.)

The U.S. Special Highway 1 Stratocaster series was released at the Summer 2002 NAMM show. This is an American Stratocaster brought back to the basics. It retails low enough so it can be purchased at $900 by Fender's MAP price!

HIGHWAY 1 STRATOCASTER (NO. 011-1100/1102/1160/1162)

- offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 22 medium jumbo-fret maple (1102/1162) or rosewood (1100/1160) fingerboard with dot inlays, Fender Cast/sealed tuning machines, Fender Synchronized tremolo, three single coil Alnico pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-way switch, satin lacquer finish, available in 3-Color Sunburst, Black (2006-present), Daphne Blue (2006-07), Cocoa Trans. (disc. 2004), Crimson Red Trans. (2002-06), Honey Blonde Trans., Sapphire Blue Trans. (2002-06), Teal Green Trans. (disc. 2004), or Wine Trans./Midnight Wine (2006-present) finish, gigbag included, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 2002-present.

Highway 1 Stratocaster HSS (U.S. Mfg., No. 011-1700/1760)

- similar to the Highway 1 Stratocaster, except has Fender Atomic II humbucker and two single coil pickups HSS, available in 3-Color Sunburst (2007-present), Black (2006-present), Crimson Red Trans. (2003-06), Daphne Blue (2006 only), Sapphire Blue Trans. (2002-06), Walnut (disc), or Wine Trans./Midnight Wine (2006-present) finish, mfg. 2003-present.

Highway 1 Stratocaster Left-Handed (No. 011-1120/1126)

- similar to the Highway 1 Stratocaster, except in left-handed configuration, available in Black (2006-present), Crimson Red Trans. (2003-06), Daphne Blue (2006-07), Honey Blonde Trans., Sapphire Blue Trans. (2003-06), or Wine Trans./Midnight Wine (2006-present) finish, mfg. 2003-present.
