The Epiphone G Series are designed after the Gibson SG and Doubleneck models.
G-310 (MODEL EGG1)
- double sharp cutaway alder body, bolt-on mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, blackface peghead with logo, three-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, two exposed coil humbucker pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-position switch, available in Ebony, Red, or Vintage White finish, mfg. 1989-present.
G-310 Left-Handed (Model EGG1L)
- similar to G-310, except in left-handed configuration, available in Ebony finish, current mfg.
G-310 Junior (Model EGGJ)
- similar to G-310, except has a laminated alder/maple SG-style body, available in Ebony, Cherry, or TV Yellow finishes, disc. 2000.
G-310 "Emily the Strange" (Model EGG1)
- G-310 body style with Emily the Strange graphics, includes strap and gigbag, mfg. 2003-present.
G-400 (MODEL EGG4)
- similar to G-310, except has mahogany body, set-in mahogany neck, trapezoid fingerboard inlays, 3-per-side vintage-style tuners, smaller pickguard, 2 covered humbucker pickups, available in Cherry or Ebony finishes, mfg. 1989-present.
G-400 Custom (Model EGG5)
- similar to G-400, except has 3 covered humbuckers, white pickguard, gold hardware, fingerboard block inlays, bound neck and headstock, available in Antique Ivory finish, mfg. 1998-2000, reintroduced 2003-present.
G-400 Deluxe (Model EGF4)
- similar to the G-400 except has a flame maple top, available in Vintage Sunburst finish, mfg. 1999-2007.
G-400 Korina (Model EGG4)
- similar to G-400, except has korina body, white pickguard, gold hardware, fingerboard block inlays, bound neck and headstock, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1998-2000.
G-400 Left-Handed (Model EGG4L)
- similar to the G-400 except in left-handed configuration, available in Cherry finish, mfg. 2003-present.
G-400 Vibrotone (Model EGG4)
- similar to G-400, except has Bigsby-derived tremolo bridge, available in Cherry finish, mfg. 1997-99.
G-400 Vintage/Faded/Worn
- similar to the G-400 except has either a Worn Brown or Worn Cherry finish, mfg. 2003-present.
TONY IOMMI SIGNATURE G-400 (MODEL EGGI)
- G-400 style guitar that is based on the 1962 Gibson SG, 24-fret Slim-Taper neck, Gibson USA Tony Iommi Humbuckers, Tony Iommi's cross inlays, Tony Iommi signature on truss-rod cover, black chrome hardware, available in Ebony finish, mfg. 2003-present.
Tony Iommi Signature G-400 Left-Handed (Model EGGIL)
- similar to the Tony Iommi signature except in left-handed configuration, available in Ebony finish, mfg. 2003-08.
SG '61 STANDARD ELITIST (MODEL ELSGS, JAPAN)
- double cutaway solid body, book-matched African mahogany top, one-piece mahogany set neck with Rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 50SR and 60ST USA humbuckers, Grover tuners, nickel hardware, two volume, two tone and three-way pickup selector, available in Cherry or Ebony finishes, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 2003-05.
SG CUSTOM PROPHECY EX (EGSE)
- double pointed cutaway SG-style mahogany body, quilted maple top, set mahogany neck, 24-fret bound ebony 14 in. radius fingerboard with blade inlays, multi-ply bound headstock with black overlay, logo, and custom blade inlay, three-per-side Grover tuners, LockTone tune-o-matic bridge, LockTone stop tailpiece, two EMG pickups (EMG-81/EMG-85), two metal knobs with pearl inlays (v, tone), three-way pickup switch, black hardware, available in Midnight Ebony finish, 24.75 in. scale, new 2008.
SG Custom Prophecy GX (EGSE)
- similar to the SG Prophecy Custom EX, except has two Gibson Dirty Fingers exposed pickups with a coil tap switch in the volume knob and gold hardware, available in Black Cherry finish, new 2008.
SG SPECIAL (MODEL ESGS)
- double sharp cutaway (SG) laminated alder/maple body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, 2 Epi open coil humbucker pickups, chrome hardware available in Cherry or Ebony finishes, current mfg.
SG SPECIAL (U.S. MFG.)
- SG-style body, set-in neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, chrome hardware, stop tailpiece, 1 (or 2) humbucker pickups, has Epiphone U.S.A. on headstock, mfg. 1982-83.
