ELRICK BASS GUITARS
ELECTRIC BASS: PLATINUM SERIES
The Platinum Series is available in two body shapes: the Classic and the e-volution.
The Elrick Bass Guitar (Thru-neck)/Platinum Thru-Neck has a neck-through design that features either hard maple or wenge necks reinforced with graphite stiffening rods. A 24-fret phenolic fingerboard is standard at a 35 in. scale, however, both 34 in. and 36 in.scale lengths are offered. The Elrick Thru-neck bass is available in four-string ($4,000), five-string ($4,200), six-string ($4,400), or seven-string ($4,600) configurations. In 2000, the Elrick Thru-neck model became part of the Platinum series.
The Hybrid Series basses were introduced in 2000 and are part of the Platinum Series. These basses provide a model between the bolt-on and neck-thru-body models with a set-neck variation, bookmatched exotic wood top, and a carved neck heel. The Hybrid is available in four-string ($3,800), five-string ($4,000), six-string ($4,200), and seven-string ($4,400) configurations. The Hybrid is also available as a semi-hollow body with a deep resonant body and a flamed maple, spruce, or flamed walnut top. This model is available in four-string ($4,800), five-string ($5,000), six-string ($5,200), and seven-string ($5,400) configurations.
The Single Cut was introduced in 2001 and these models are part of the Platinum Series. These basses look the same as the Thru-neck models on the treble bout, but they have a large bass bout that does not cutaway. The Single Cut is available in four-string ($4,500), five-string ($4,700), six-string ($4,900), and seven-string ($5,100) configurations.
