MODEL IDENTIFICATION
1971-1975: All models have bolt-on necks, and resemble models offered by Univox during the same time period. By 1975, a wide range of Fender-ish/Gibson-esque models were offered.
1975: Joint venture agreement signed with a guitar company in Matsumoku, Japan; Tom Presley hired to oversee guitar design.
1976-1977: Les Paul-styled guitars switch to glued (set-in) necks. MPC guitar models introduced.
1983-1985: Electra trademark phased out in favor of Westone name.
