EKO | ELECTRIC | EKO produced a number of different models, like the semi-hollowbody 335-ish Barracuda series; or electric/acoustic cutaway models like the Escort, Commander, and Mascot. EKO offered violin-shaped guitars and basses; and solid body guitars like the double offset cutaway Lancer series, or the rocket ship-shaped Roke guitars and basses. More traditional were the Kadett and Cobra lines. A number of EKO designs were based on Fender's Jazzmaster model. Current models are Gibson- and Fender-based electric guitar designs, and dreadnought style acoustics. Prices on vintage EKO models typically range $200-$400 - some of the more elaborate models may be priced as high as $500-$700, depending on condition, appeal, and relative coolness of the piece. EKO's new models consist of the Camaro, Manta, and the Cobra II for electric guitars. They make a Manta and a Cobra in bass form as well. These models are based off of the popular '60s style guitars.
